Manila, Philippines — Kiana Mailura, the iconic Filipino model and influencer with over 1.5 million Instagram followers, has stunned her audience by announcing her debut on OnlyFans, the adult-content platform. In an exclusive interview with The Thread Girl, the 25-year-old broke her silence about this controversial move and her evolution on social media.

«It’s not just about sensuality; it’s about creative freedom,» declared Mailura during the chat, seated at a boutique café in Makati. «On Instagram, brands and algorithms dictate what you can show. On OnlyFans, I have absolute control over my art and my body,» she added, adjusting her white lace dress—a recent collaboration with local brand Silk & Bloom.

Her decision to join OnlyFans was met with backlash. Conservative followers flooded her comments with disappointment, but the model stood her ground: «There will always be judgment. But my real community understands this is an extension of my empowerment. I won’t apologize for exploring new forms of expression.»

The Thread Girl pressed her about rumors of clashes with traditional fashion brands. Mailura firmly denied them: «I still work with key partners like Glow Cosmetics PH and WanderLuxe Bags. Some adjusted their contracts, but they respect my autonomy. In the end, this also gives them visibility.»

Kiana’s OnlyFans profile, launched three weeks ago, has already surpassed 50,000 subscribers. Though she didn’t disclose exact figures, she admitted: «Income matters, but what I value most is the intimate connection with my audience. Here, I share everything from raw photoshoots to personal reflections I’d never post on Instagram.»

When asked about her flawless aesthetic—a trademark on social media—she joked: «Even in intimacy, there’s branding! My OnlyFans photos still have my essence: warm tones, soft lighting… but without overused filters.»

Closing the interview, Mailura sent a message to her critics: «I’m more than a body or a social media account. I’m learning, growing, and, above all, living fearlessly.»
